Thaddeus: "We have a wooden bread board that we bought for, I think, fifty cents at an antiques store in Enfield, New Hampshire.  If you were driving from Hanover you would go above the city of Enfield and then you would go at a sharp left angle and right there was an antiques store.  We were on our way to Newfound Lake to visit Aunt Mary and we got rummaging around the antiques store and found a round bread board and both looked at it and looked at each other and said 'Oh, that's nice!' and we used it every morning until we moved out here.
