Class of '71 reunion
In 1977 Whit was awarded the David W. Peck Senior Medal for Eminence in the Law. Dave Peck, Wabash '22, was an old friend of Whit's and had been instrumental in bringing Thaddeus to Wabash.
Thaddeus's office with "The Juggler", the photo of Whit's Dartmouth honorary degree, and other favorites, many of them now in Thaddeus's bathroom.
Thaddeus established Elmore Day at Wabash, an annual undeclared holiday named for the local poet James B. Elmore. The tradition continued at Rollins with Fox Day.
